How to play Colour Clash

The creator seals a colour and a stake; the hash is published before an opponent joins.

  1. The joiner calls a colour.
  2. The seal is opened and anyone can check it matches the published hash.

Fair play and verification

Low cheating risk

Before anyone can join, the creator's colour is sealed behind a SHA-256 commitment that is published with the duel. When the duel settles the seal is opened, and anyone can hash the revealed colour and check it matches what was published before the guess.

  • The seal is published before the guess, so the result cannot be changed afterwards — and you can verify it yourself.
