8 ball pool for real money, decided by your cue alone

Ariplex runs eight-ball pool matches between two real people for a stake. Both players stake the same amount, every shot is simulated by the server with the same physics the practice table uses, and the winner of the match takes the pot minus the platform fee.

Stakes
$1 – $1,000 per player
Fee
12% of the pot
Practice
Free, no account
Age
18+

In Nairobi, each player puts in $1. The winner takes $1.76 from a pot of $2. A draw refunds both stakes.

How it works, step by step

  1. Practise free. Play the free table against practice players from Beginner to Legendary, or pass the phone to a friend. Nothing is staked.
  2. Create an account and add funds. Sign up and deposit to your wallet.
  3. Choose a city. Each city is one stake level. You only meet players in the same city.
  4. Play the frames. A match is best of three frames with the break alternating. Each shot has a shot clock, and fouls give ball in hand.
  5. Get paid. The pot goes to the match winner's wallet when the last frame ends, minus the fee.

Why the physics can be trusted

Your aim, power and spin are sent to the server, which runs the shot through the same physics engine the browser shows. The table on your screen is a replay of the server's result, not the other way round.

One fixed guideline for everyone, the same for every player and every cue. Cues in the shop change how a cue looks, never how it plays.

How a match is kept fair

Every move or shot goes to Ariplex's server, which applies the published rules, runs the clock and decides the result. A phone or computer never reports who won, so a modified app cannot win a match.

Staked matches are between two real people. Computer opponents exist only in free practice, and they are labelled as practice players.

Players are paired by a hidden skill rating inside a city, so a new player meets other new players rather than the strongest on the site.

The shop sells cosmetics only. Nothing that can be bought changes how a game plays.

18+, limits and where it is not allowed

Ariplex is for adults aged 18 and over. Deposit limits, loss limits, time outs and self-exclusion are in every account, and the responsible play page lists where to get help.

Playing skill games for money is restricted or not allowed in some countries and states. Check the law where you are before you stake; free practice needs no account and no money.

Questions and answers

Is 8 ball pool for real money a game of skill?

Eight-ball is decided by aim, cue-ball control and choice of shot. There are no random elements once the balls are racked, and every shot is simulated the same way for both players.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. Pool runs in the phone's browser, upright or sideways, with no download. It also works with a mouse and keyboard on a computer.

Am I playing against a computer?

Not in a staked match. Staked matches are always between two people; computer opponents are only on the free practice table.

What if I disconnect mid-frame?

The match waits for you to reconnect for a short time. If you do not return, the frame is forfeited, as at a real table.

Are there any pay-to-win items?

No. Cues, cloths and balls in the shop are cosmetic only.
