# Ariplex

> Ariplex is an online platform for skill games played against real people in a web browser, on phones and computers, with no download. Chess, Eight-Ball, Checkers and Colour Clash are open for real-stake matches against real people; 2048 is open for free practice; Go 9×9, Reversi, Dots & Boxes, Hex, Chinese Checkers, Four in a Row and Wall Race are in development. Free practice against computer opponents needs no account. One account and one wallet work across every game, and every match is run and settled on Ariplex's server, not on a player's device.

Facts:

- Games are played in the browser (phones, tablets and computers). The site is installable as a web app.
- Staked matches pair two real people by a hidden skill rating. Computer opponents exist only in free practice.
- Moves are sent to the server, which applies the published rules, runs the clock and records the match. A device never reports a result.
- Before a staked match the player sees the stake, the pot and the platform fee. A draw refunds both stakes with no fee.
- A player who disconnects has 60 seconds to return before forfeiting.
- The shop sells cosmetics only. Nothing that can be bought changes how a game plays.
- Ariplex is for adults aged 18 and over. Deposit limits, loss limits, time outs and self-exclusion are available in every account.
- Real-money skill games are restricted or not allowed in some countries and states. A player is responsible for checking that staked play is lawful where they are; free practice needs no account and no money.
- Each city is a stake level: players only meet others in the same game and city, from free practice up to the highest tiers.
